Lost!!!!!!!!!!

Isabella has a habit of loosing things from the pram, last week sadly it was Hong Mao ( Panda, sorry J XXXX ) which she really adored and also Eeyore! It only really happens in the running jogger as the wheels are so large and we are running around that I don't even notice when things are thrown/dropped from the pram. Poor Hong Mao was lost during a 5 KM run and Mummy was not going to re trace the steps to find him! But I have bid and won for another panda and Eeyore from eBay which should be arriving soon.

This morning we went for a run and just as we got to the park, I noticed Isabella had taken off and lost one of her wellington boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we had to go home, but luckily found it on the way back!

But this afternoon she really did cause chaos by loosing things! It was such a lovely sunny day, so with both wellies on I drove to the park. As we got out of the car, I put Isabella's coat on and she grabbed my purse from my pocket! She has a habit of taking things and is so light fingered sometimes you don't notice! However, I put it safely back and didn't pay any attention. After and hour and walking about a mile or so around the park, we went back to the car and the car key was not in my pocket!!!!!!!!!! Luckily we only live about 20 minutes away, so I had to buy another hours ticket and dash home, collect the spare key and get back to the park! On the way back I remembered Isabella was hiding her hand in her coat sleeve at the beginning of our outing and she fell over in a huge pile of leaves ( about 1 metre by 2 metres in size!), so I went to the leaf pile, pushed a few of them with my foot and can you believe it found the car key! It really was a needle in a haystack! So Isabella is forgiven, she thought the dash home and back was also great fun!!!!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmm But she is so cute, you can forgive her for anything, and it is quite funny (now!).

Isabella is growing so quickly, her language is coming along so well. She is now baby babbling more and more and is so funny talking and laughing to herself. But she now clearly speaks more and more words in both Cantonese and English. In the morning she used to cry when she woke up until we gave her milk, but now just says Ma Ma, ( Li LI) milk in perfect Cantonese! We really hope she grows up bilingual and later learns Mandarin as well. She will also go to a Saturday Chinese school when she is five to learn to read and write Chinese characters.

Marathon training
Last week I started my Marathon training (slowly!!!) Isabella and I ran two five Km runs during the week, and on Saturday Ba Ba took Isabella for the morning and I did a 10 Km run, so ran for a total of 20 Km. I will post my weekly runs just to motivate myself! But we have to April to train up to the 20 mile long runs! I remember how I lived with a permanent ache the last time! My aim is to run about 25-30 miles per week by the end of December which includes a 15-18 mile long run. We are lucky Isabella loves the baby jogger so much!
