We have a telephone is Isabella's bedroom as this was our study. As she is still sleeping in our room we have just left it in there out of her reach. I used the phone today, whilst she was playing and didn't think to move it out of her reach again. I left her playing to go to the bathroom and when I came back she was playing with the telephone. I took it out of her reach and didn't think anything off it until 5 minutes later when the police called to ask if I had just called the emergency services.............OOOOOoooooooppppppppppppsssssssssssss!!!!!!!!! Our UK number is 999 which is easy for toddler to dial!!!!!!!!!

Hi Merdith and Janet. Yes I did find it quite funny so did Ba Ba, but I was very appologetic on the telephone to the police. I hope she didnt say Poo Poo which is her favourite word at the moment!

I think saying poo poo would have made it even funnier lol.
Drama Teen did a similar thing, although she pressed redial and got through to Grandma, which is lucky as she shouted "Hiya" down the phone, which could have sounded like "Fire"!!
You have to remember all of these things to embarass her with when she is older lol - a great reason to maintain your blog!
