After the Chinese heritage November 06 group had been missed from referrals for 5 months, we heard on the rumour grapevine that June referrals would include Chinese heritage. I took Monday off work as I just couldn't concentrate or focus and rang Darlington in the afternoon to be told they had received no referrals as yet. Later during the day non expedited referrals began to arrive in Europe but Darlington's help line was then closed! So I had a very sleepless night!
On June 10th I had to go to work and was examining students all day, and really had to concentrate extra hard!. I was pretty adamant that I had to make a call during the lunch break ( As soon as the help line opened) and managed to finally get thought to be told I had a daughter who was 12 months and 5 days old from Guangxi. They mis spelt the name on the telephone and I remember just bursting into tears. So did some work colleagues! And then called hubby to let him know he was finally a Ba Ba.
We got the pictures finally on Saturday as they were sent to our LA who then just sent them all to us! It was just in time for fathers day on the Sunday 11th. All I could tell Terry that she was bold but very beautiful. My in laws then came down and translated all the documents for us verbatim before I faxed them to BLAS the next day for the official translation. She now has hair! But is still beautiful and getting prettier every day. We truly are blessed to have our beautiful child in our lives.
