I had my first night out in 6 months yesterday with my two oldest friends ( as in years that I have known them not ages!!!). They have both been to the cinema recently and seen quite a few films so I booked a real girly film. Actually I was expecting the film to be pants and very cheesy. But it was far better than I anticipated.
We went to the O2 centre at the Dome to see the film, and then had dinner afterwards at Zilli's. The food was good Italian food which suited my carb need!, and the company was superb! We shared a nice bottle of wine. We then went for a drink afterwards and all headed home around 10.30! We had met at 16.30! And we only had 3 glasses of wine each. I couldn't of drunk anymore as I had been running earlier and was quite dehydrated already. But it was a fun night out, and just so nice to take a handbag without it containing spare pants ( as in underwear!), a change of clothes, sippy cup, baby wipes, bib and spoons !!!!
Yesterday I did my marathon training run and ran 13.1 miles in 1 hour and 57 minutes and 23 seconds. I am aiming to run my March 1/2 marathon just under 9 minutes a mile. But my hip is still tender from my long run last weekend, and I ran off road for part of this which probably was not a good idea.
Hubby ran his 20 mile run today. I took Isabella out and we were aiming to drive to meet him at the end and have lunch together. But we saw him around his 13th mile. Isabella really sobbed when we drove off. And continued to cry as I drove to the Docklands. I had just started driving through a tunnel when she managed to climb out of the child seat and climbed into the front seat trying to get on my lap.
I couldn't stop and tried to get Isabella to sit in the front seat and strapped in until I was out of the b****** tunnel. I pulled over as soon as we were out and she just wanted a cuddle as she was so upset we drove off and left Ba Ba!!!!! The seat was not loose around her waist just the arms and she had managed to work her arms loose, then stand up and climb out. I was so scared. Luckily we got out the tunnel quite quickly and after a long cuddle she was firmly strapped back into the car seat with all the straps tightened!
We then went to the Docklands city farm. Isabella so loves the animals. And a goat came over and she put her arms through and stroked it for ages. She was chatting away and laughing and the goat was quite complaint ( I think it was looking for food!). I also took a video of it, as it was so cute!
Tomorrow is packing! As we fly on Tuesday night. I am not looking forward to the flight! But its a night flight and I am hoping she will sleep, as she did when we flew from Hong Kong to London. But we are so looking forward to some hot weather, good food and relaxation. We have only booked our flights to Thailand and from Bangkok to Vietnam and our hotel in Bangkok. Hubby and I are used to just travelling independently and finding things as we go along. Mmm not a good idea with a toddler so we will sit down tonight and plan things properly and book accommodation and internal Vietnam flights!
Marathon Update
Most marathon schedules have the long ( 20+ mile runs around week 13 of a 16 week schedule). But as we are going away for two weeks we have done our runs earlier so just hope to maintain our fitness and build up again when we get back on March 11th. My hip is a bit tender! And will be glad to ease of the training for week or so! But yesterday I ran with my Garmin GPS watch and Ipod and the Ipod showed I ran a mile and a half under my GPS watch milage! So I think that last week as I only ran
with my Ipod, looking at my running times I probably ran 21 miles rather than 20.2! That makes me feel better about the time as it means that I am pretty much on schedule for a 4.20 marathon. I know for a lot of people its not fast! But thats my aim between 4.20-4.30! And I know if I had to then last week I could of pushed myself a further 5 miles.
Its scary that there is only just over two months until the Flora London Marathon . Its a scary thought.
We have now achieved over 50% of our fundraising target so thank you to everyone who has kindly donated to our charity . I also sold 6 items on ebay this week which has boosted our fund a little. I have more things to list and will do this when I return from our holiday. But I do need to visit the post office tomorrow!!!!
No doubt I will be busy for the next two days, but we will try to blog when we are away. Just to finish with a picture of Isabella who is trying now to master a temper tantrum! And she is only 20 months old!!!

How scary that Isabella got out of her carseat when you were driving! Little Prince has done that on the motorway too and its not good for your nerves!! Loved the pictures of the cheered up Isabella at the farm :-)
Have a fantastic time on holiday.
Lots of love

Hi J yes she worked out how to get out of the pram straps a while ago, it was scary whilst driving and scared her by shouting at her to sit down!
Hope you hear some good news soon regarding your dusty dossier:)
Love S
