The Wongs Adoption Journey

Isabella and I continue to be sick. On Monday I was hit by a stomach bug and spent most of the evening vomiting. Looking after a child when you are unwell, I have discovered isn't much fun! So I have basically just taken her out of the house as much as possible to wear her out and feed her.

Hubby was sweet on Tuesday morning and fed her breakfast and changed her before he went to work, and then I got up and drove her to the toddler gym ( driving was safer than the Docklands light railway in case I needed to make an urgent stop!!!!), and she was fine running around until it closed at 11.00, so I then drove her to our gym and let her run around in the children's play den and then got lunch for her there so I didn't have to cook! She fell asleep on the drive home ( not surprising) and was still asleep when I carried her upstairs to continue her nap! In the afternoon I did the last of the Xmas present shopping so its all done!

Today I did a similar thing in taking her to the park all morning, we then had lunch in the park cafe and she fell asleep in the pram on the walk home. And we spent the afternoon reading and playing quietly in her bedroom. But Isabella now has explosive nappies, and I still feel nausea's so changing offensive nappies has been difficult. And after being a nurse for over 20 yrs I really have a strong stomach!

So no running at all this week!

My laptop is beyond repair, but he did manage so save everything from the hard drive and the pictures and video's of China are far more important than the computer. Hubby is going to buy me a new one for Xmas:).
