We have finally finished the major decorating. I know its taken forever, but we have decorated a new bathroom, bedroom, sanded and painted all the new woodwork and new plaster, three floors of hallway/landing. And changed the interior hallway lights. And all this and working full time.
It looks so nice and clean compared to all the black stained, plaster splattered walls! I will post some pictures next week now its finished!
We are now going to call the carpet company to come and lay the new stair/hallway and bedroom carpet and then hire a carpet cleaner to try to get our cream carpets cream again after being rained on by 100 year old soot and dust from when they removed the loft floor/hallway ceiling.
There is still a lot more work to do, but it feels we are on the home straight now! especially with a 4 day weekend next week. We might even squeeze in a film and dinner and have some time for us looking non paint splattered!
