Anyone for Tennis?

Yes the title gives it away. We have been at Wimbledon all day basking in the sunshine! My lovely hubby got given centre court tickets and members enclosure passes! It is very plush and yes gentlemen have to wear shirts, jackets and ties!



So we started the day watching some of the smaller outer court matches and then had lunch in the members enclosure! Hubby had dressed crab and I had avocado and prawns, it was yummy!

We then went to centre court and the first match was Venus Williams vs Natalie Cavaday (UK) the first set was close and Venus thrashed her in the second! I have seen both of the Williams sisters play at Wimbledon before when they first started winning all the grand slam titles! They are brilliant



The second match was between Beck and Nadal (no 2 seed) not surprising Nadal won.



We then took a short break to go back into the members enclosure for scones, jam, cream and coffee! And went back to watch the last match of the day the UK no 1 Andy Murray Vs Santoro of France. It was a good match and nice to see Murray win, as he was injured last year.




In between the tennis we also called our UK government office and finally we can send our acceptance letter back to China. So we got home around 8.30pm ordered a take away! And booked DHL on line to pick this up tomorrow and courier back to Beijing! Fingers crossed, I will track this tomorrow night to see if it has left the UK!, lets hope we have a speedy TA/ITT to make up for all the delays! But soon China will know that we want to adopt Isabella and its all systems go!
