It was nice arriving back in to some sunshine! We stayed at a different hotel which was luxurious! And beautiful. We dumped the cases and quickly got a cab to a plaza to get some copies of some computer hard wear and then went to one of our favourite sea food restaurants in Bangkok. Its a chain of three restaurants and the sea food is so fresh ( yes still alive in tanks) and is very reasonably priced. We finished the night off at the hotel with a cocktail ( well it was our last night) sitting outside by the waterfall. Isabella loved it as there were lots of large fish she could sit and watch!
The next day after a fantastic buffet breakfast of everything you could every want! And yes we did eat lots! We got a cab to the Orient hotel and got the river boat to the Grand place. I have done this trip before and its a fantastic way to see Bangkok and Isabella loved the river boat and it only costs around 30 pence per person!. The grand place is stunning, I think this is my third or fourth visit and it never fails to astound me at its beauty. We finished the afternoon lazing by the pool. Isabella is fantastic at floating now and is really making progress in the water. Hopefully she will be swimming soon, she is beginning to try! Lessons will probably start when she is over 2! As this seems to be the age of swimming groups in our area. In the interim Ma Ma and Ba Ba will continue to teach her!
Our flight home was at midnight so we had a nice Thai dinner and got a cab arriving around 9.30 pm. Isabella fell asleep in the stroller for about an hour! And then was awake when we borded the very packed flight. As usual she was brilliant. This was her 5th flight on the trip and she knows when the fasten seatbelt sighn is on she must sit on Ma Ma's lap with the seat belt on. She doesnt even complain or argue! She was awake for the first couple of hours then she fell back to sleep and I could put her in the child chair ( Too big for the cot! She was at even 13 months!), as BA have child seats that secure where the cots normally go. She stayed in this for about 4 hours! And then slept on my lap for another 2-3 hours and just played and helped us eat our breakfast until we landed!
It was freezing at Heathrow at 5.30 AM! Hubby had booked a cab to collect us and it didnt take us long to get home! Isabella adjusted back to the UK time zone quite well, we all stayed awake all day! She just woke up at 4.30 AM for the toilet and just wanted to play so we all got up around 6.00!
I am so proud of Isabella as she coped with whatever we threw at her, and coped with changes of hotels, countries, flights etc!. Now at 21 months old she has two passports! Has had 7 plane trips! And has been to 5 different countries! What a little jet setter!

Hi S,
The scenery looks fantastic, but my favourite picture is your little jetsetter in the pool :-)
