Today I went to the gym for one of my mid week runs. Isabella goes to the creche for an hour to start introducing her to being in a nursery and away from Ma Ma for when I go to work.
Its a private gym! And whilst on the treadmill my purse was stolen. Can you believe it! I put all my personal stuff on a machine and then found the programme I wanted wasn't working and moved to another machine only 2 machines away.The gym was very quiet! I thought I had taken everything to the new machine and when I finished running I noticed my purse was missing! And it wasn't at the other machine nor had anyone else used it or been the one in between! And to make things worse due to my two huge blisters from the Reading 1/2 marathon I could only run 2 kms as they were so painful. So all this happened in 10 minutes. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Luckily I have card protection and they have cancelled all my cards and ordered new ones as well as stepping up security if anyone applies for credit in the near future as my drivers licence as also in the purse.
I had no money in the purse as I had used all my change for the creche! And hadn't had chance to go to a cashpoint since last week. So all they got was a purse, my gym card and library card!! Drivers licence and switch/maestro cards as my credit card was at home. So it could of been a lot worse. The biggest hassle can you believe it will be getting a new gym card as I have to go to the gym we are members and not the one nearest to us ( they are a chain!). Oh well, that's something for tomorrow afternoon or Thursday as I still need to report it to the police ( no the gym didn't offer!).

Sorry to hear abou the bad news. Something similar happened to me a while back. I'm wondering if it was an employee at the Gym. And I can't believe the Gym did not offer to help you! Also, are there cameras around? I will pursue it so it won't happen again to you or someone else and the gym should be accountable for it. Good luck!
