Spring has arrived

Since returning back to the UK I think we brought some SE Asia sunshine home with us as we have had glorious sunshine. Its beautiful.

Since we arrived home last Wednesday morning it has been a game of catch up. Love holidays but hate the laundry when I come home and then of course the dreaded ironing! But its all done now. We have also all gone down with colds! So as a family are going through a lot of tissues this week. Hopefully they will all clear up soon. Hubby was the culprit as he started feeling unwell in Hanoi from all the pollution then Isabella caught it and finally me!

We have been so lucky with the time changes. For the first two nights Isabella woke up around 4.30 am and thought it was playtime! So we all ended up getting up around 5.30-6.00 AM as we were now all awake anyway! The third night she woke up and went back to sleep and then has been fine. Back to her normal routine.

Over the weekend Hubby's little sister was over from Hong Kong so he took Isabella to meet with her and my in laws and the boys whilst I went for my Saturday run. Hubby ran on Sunday and I took Isabella to the city farm at the Docklands where he ended his run and met us for lunch!

This week has been all about getting out every day and enjoying the sunshine. Monday we had to wait for a delivery but went out on Monday PM to the park!! Tuesday we went for a run, then park then to the library St Patrick's day children's singing. Wednesday run and then park and today we left the house just after 9.00 am after tidying up and ran, then went to the toddler gym! followed by sandwiches in the park! Mmmmmmmm getting far to used to being at home! Going back to work in July will be a shock to my system!

Marathon Training!

Mmmm yes well we skived a lot on holiday. I did do three runs but they were only for 2 miles each! Last week I ran on Thursday morning but was still quite tired from travelling all Tuesday night, so only ran for 5km! Sundays schedule for week 11 was for a 1/2 marathon. I did this but accidentally stopped my GPS watch! And then my Ipod crashed and froze! So I think I ran the 13.1 miles in around 1 hour 58 minutes. Hubby ran his 1/2 marathon on Sunday in 1 hr and 56 minutes but he really pushed himself.

The schedules now have a total weekly mileage of around 40+ miles which is impossible for me to do with Isabella, so I am now aiming for 30 miles per week.

But this week I have done 3 runs, and will so a long run on Saturday. We have three weeks now of long weekend runs ( but we have already done two!) and then ease off until the big day on April 26th, its only 5 weeks away. How scary!

The fundraising is getting there and we have raised £680! We would love to raise £1,000 in total. Thanks to those who have kindly donated and don't forget just to click on the link if you wish to donate! I also have a further 12 items listed for sale on eBay this week so hopefully that will bring some more cash in!
