Beautiful Italy

These are some pictures from our recent Italian trip. The first picture is of the Duomo cathedral from Milan, it stunning isn't it.

The second picture is of my gorgeous husband from our hotel room balcony Bellagio, Lake Como. And the third picture is a view of Bellagio. The pink building is our hotel and you can see our large veranda where we could sit and watch the sun set in the evenings. It was very quiet and we had a fantastic romantic time after the conference, as well as a lot of food and good Italian wine!. We also bought a beautiful wooden height marker which also holds pictures from baby Wong's 17th LID month anniversary. I will take a picture of it during the week and post.

Well since we have been back I presented at a intensive care conference in Brighton yesterday, which went well, which was lucky as I was still writing the talk and tweaking my slides on Thursday night!. I got back to London late last night and found out that the CCAA have now skipped heritage expedites again for 5 months in a row. It really sucks and hurts. They have never not referred to heritage expedites for this length of time, this and the smaller and smaller batches each month are worrying. The CCAA have only referred from January 9th-12th 2006 this month. I guess on a positive note, they did finish reviewing November and December and I have known since March we are in the matching room, but its such a roller coaster every referral time its very hard. I hope it wont be to much longer!

Today we were clearing and tidying up our garden, it would of been so lovely to have had baby Wong with us enjoying the sunshine. We also got lots of new plants, as a lot of ours got damaged by the scaffolding and building work. We also splashed out on a new BBQ. Lets hope we have some fantastic weather this summer so we can have lots of BBQ and eat out in the garden.

I also received my onesies(body suits for us Brits)from the www 2006 yahoo group swap on Thursday, they are so cute. Thanks Lisa, I will promise I will take a picture and post on my blog group swaps over the weekend.
