We received a present for baby Wong this morning from some fellow UK adopters the who through our blog and yahoo groups has come to know us very well!. It is a beautiful book called my cat copies me by Yoon-duck Kwon. The book is about children and the special bond they have with their pets and is told through the story of a little girl and her cat. Terry and I really love it, we are both huge book fans and obviously cat fans!. I cant wait to we get our referral and so we can read baby Wong a bed time story all about how the cat 'copies me'. Fingers crossed this lovely gift brings us luck this month. Hopefully we can meet up with our children in the future for a nice 'dim sum'.
I am sorry that I only posted a rush thank you but we are going to Oxford for the weekend. We go every year and meet up with some old friends and their children and then on Sunday the adults run the Oxford town and gown which is a 10K run through the beautiful Oxford town and colleges. A few years ago they moved back to Leeds, so we only get to see them about twice a year so we are really looking forward to our annual run, dinner and catch up!
