We are having a busy weekend as usual trying to get everything sorted for the loft conversion which is starting in a weeks time. We are collecting the new bathroom suite tomorrow which we choose a couple of weeks ago, and the boiler is arriving on Monday. I am looking forward to having an extra bedroom and most importantly a second bathroom, but not the builders being here for 2 months! I Think I need to buy a major supply of tea bags and biscuits with this weeks shopping!
Tomorrow we are going to finally make our Christmas cakes, one for us and one for my father in law. Present wise I am pretty organised and just need to start thinking about wrapping presents and writing cards so that we can soon post all of the overseas mail. I love the build up and preparation, and we always have a very traditional Christmas. Hopefully this will be the last year without our child to share this with us.
I have posted a picture of us on our wedding day in Sri Lanka, in September 2002. We had a small quiet wedding with just four guests, it was a very special day for us. We also celebrated when we got home with a big party for all our friends and family. We have always said that we would go back to Sri Lanka one day with our children. Sadly the hotel was badly damaged by the Tsunami, but is now restored.
There are now some rumours that September 2006 is finally out of the review room. There is nothing officially posted as yet, maybe the CCAA site will change on Monday.
