CCAA Update

It was only another small batch this month from January 4th to 9th so we are going to crawl through 2006. Lets hope they get to more than 5 days next month and with some Chinese heritage expedited referrals as well please:)

Today the remainder of my quilt material arrived. I cant believe it took 10 days when they advertise 3-5 days on their website. To be told 'we are busy' and not even get a confirmation of order is not acceptable and I wont be doing any more shopping from their company ( not that they will loose much money LOL!)

I have decided as my quilt is so 'huge' to get it long arm quilted. But had to find another company, than the one that I located last week and had been emailing. The first one turned around and said they I had to buy their wadding ( I had already bought mine) and they wanted it to be synthetic. I have already bought cotton as the material is all cotton and ideally I wanted to keep it in natural fibres. Therefore after a bit more Internet searching, I have found someone else to do this. The prices are the same, plus they also have more long arm quilting designs to choose from. I aim to post it off before I go to Italy ( 2 weeks time, and counting!!!!).

We had snow storms on the weekend, and are now we are back to beautiful spring sunny weather it was bizarre seeing snow men in April! The remainder of the unconverted loft floor is also now boarded so we can move all the storage from the new attic bedroom for our carpets to be fitted on Saturday. It was really dusty and horrible to do. I ended up breaking 3 drill bits in the space of about 10 minutes ( I blame the hard wood of the rafters, but hubby says its me,, he's probably right!). Hey there are not that many women who would put floor boards down in a dusty dark attic when I could of been doing some retail therapy! I will just have to compensate in Italy!
