Its 13 months since our LID with the CCAA, and on the 3rd January its 14 months since our documents arrived in Beijing. No one could of predicted the slow down and increased waiting times! I cant believe in 13 months the waiting times for referrals has increased from 10 months to 24 months and continues to increase on a monthly basis, it will certainly go to 3 years! Whilst the time has gone quickly it has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, we just want to be united with our child.
I think a lot of the emotions is primarily because of the lack of information from China and the uncertaintly of the programme, and most knowledge is gained from rumours. I bet thought when we do eventually get our referral for baby Wong we will forget about such things
