Our documents left Darlington November 3rd 2006! At the time the DFEs stated the wait time for China was 8-10 months! Nearly 14 months later that has now increased to 24 months!, and is continually rising, as the CCAA only refer 4-8 days for people logged in per calander month. Last Christmas we thought that it would be the last with just the two of us! So we really hope that we do get our dossier expedited on Heritage grounds so this will be our last Christmas without baby Wong. Its strange to think that if we do get our expedited referral that our child has already been born, and spent their first Christmas in an orphanage or foster care. I bought baby Wong some Christmas presents this year, a mixture of shopping and ebay! The only thing missing is the Chinese lullaby CD which didn't arrive in time. I hope that we are united as a family soon so baby Wong can play with the Disney toys and we can read her/him a story at night.
