The Sales!

Despite a heavy head cold and croaking like a frog! My hubby decided that it would be a good idea to hit the Next sale/Bluewater for work and casual clothes! The sale started at 05.00 hrs and from past experiences you need to get there mega early at to avoid queuing to get into the store! Or even into the shopping centre! (We have given up on previous years on the A2!). Because I was feeling unwell, we didn't actually arrive until just after 07.00 hrs it was packed but tolerable. However, the queuing for the tills is so horrendous!, they will get it sorted one year! We met after about ½ of an hour of shopping and then took turns standing in line whilst the other one continued looking the store (we queued for just under 90 minutes!). I bought mostly work suits and clothes which were all ½ price. Baby Wong did get some really cute outfits although we did say we wouldn’t buy anymore clothes until we get our referral! Ha! However baby Wong additionally got two toys from the Disney store as well as a dress from Monsoon! In fact Baby Wong did better out of the sales than I did! We did hit a few more shops after this, but I was feeling pretty grotty by then and needed to get home to make a start on the mountain of essays waiting for me! I guess it will be a late night catching up on missing marking this morning!


Its strange that for nearly 12 months we didn't buy anything but as you can tell from recent picture from various Yahoo swaps and us shopping, Baby Wong is building up quite a collection of outfits, toys and books! You will note that most of the clothes are in pink! If we get referred a boy my friends and the charity shops will be doing well out of us!
