Our loft conversion recommenced yesterday, only to be told that they are then only working 1/2 week next week and then will be off for Christmas/New year. So I guess the 8 week time frame might be a tad extended! ...........................
I arrived home from work late last night to find a huge whole in our landing wall. Its a Victorian house with fragile limestone plaster that has lasted for over 100 years!(or had!). The loft company said they would repair this fee of charge! Oh well I guess that's British workmen for you! And that was officially only day one! The plumbing work is not included in the time frame! I keep telling myself that and extra bedroom and second bathroom will be worth it all!
