We are getting prepared for Xmas day. We did an on line food shop which arrived this AM which contained our Goose. We always have Goose on boxing day when Terry's family come round. It is a real delicacy in China, it also reminds me of my Grandmother ( my dads mother) she had 8 children and 22 grandchildren so used to do the family Christmas over 2 days on Christmas day she served goose and on boxing day turkey! In our house we just do it the other way around! I haven't got the turkey yet, as its only the two of us we will get a turkey crown and we will go to the shops later to get this (heres hoping there some left!)We have also started the traditional cooking fest, I have already made the cranberry sauce but have also made the cranberry and lemon stuffing for the turkey, and the pastry for the mine pies, sausage rolls and quiche, which is now in the fridge until I make them when I get home from work on Christmas eve.
I also received some fantastic cyber shower gifts from Sara Greenleaf from NY. Thanks Sara they are fantastic and I have put a picture of them on the yahoo gifts blog page. We just need baby Wong now to wear them and to make our family complete!
