We had had a busy weekend, yesterday we met with Terry family for dim sum and then went with them to get their kitchen designed. There kitchen is 20 yrs old and so badly needs updating. The have chosen a really nice wooden one ( different from ours) with a black granite work top. Just measuring the kitchen, dim sum and the kitchen took from 11.00-7 pm by the time we got home! So as we hadn't even done a food shop we got a Thai take away, Yum! It was a day of Asian cuisine!
Today was such a beautiful day, whilst it was only about 8-9 degrees Cecilius the sun was really bright. We went for a run and started in the docklands and then ran past tower bridge to Blackfriars bridge and then back to London bridge where we got the train home. Running by the Thames on a sunny day really makes London look so beautiful. The architecture is so stunning. I proposed to run 6 miles but actually ran over this. According to my Ipod I ran 8 miles but my GPS watch said it was 7.4 miles! ( see I am married to a Chinese gadget man who buys me all these things!), Sadly the watch is probably more accurate! The run took us 69 minutes which I guess as I am only just beginning to get fit again is not too bad, its about 9 minutes a mile. My aim is to run up to 10 miles by the end of January and 14 miles by the end of February. So I just need to increase my long weekend runs by a mile a week. I hope to get back to running about 8 minutes a mile again before our 1/2 marathon run in March!
I dont normally wear my Ipod when I run with Terry, but its sometimes great to listen to music when you run. Here are some of my top running songs which are not necessarily my favourite but the beat really picks my pace up! Mm as long as I don't sing aloud!
Snow Patrol - Chasing cars
Crazy in love -Beyonce
Still haven't found what I'm looking for - The Chimes
Alanis Morrisette - Jagged little pill
Brand New Heavies - Midnight at the Oasis
Fatboy Slim - Praise you
Jackson 5 - ABC
Kelly Clarkson - Because of you
Pink - Who knew
Robbie Williams - Angels
Scissor Sisters - I don't feel like dancing
It will be hard to manage our weekend runs with Baby Wong, as running every Saturday or Sunday has become part of a routine. I guess a stroller which we can push! Or just running at different times!Anyway being parents will be worth the sacrifice!

This is ABSOLUTELY true!!!
I like a lot of the songs on your list. We have the same taste in music, it seems!
Have a great day!
Thanks Brandi. It will be worth the wait!
