The vanishing box

The CCAA have got rid of the update box from their website. This has caused a lot of concern regarding the programmes stability and increased lack of information. It was useful to know the confirmed monthly cut off date and which months had finally made it out of review. The CCAA now has an online system this information can be collated from agencies who use this. We are yet to hear if our UK government body which acts as our agency has this system.

Whilst my LID month is in review, I am aware from a recent email from China that we have been reviewed which is quite a relief. This is because expedited dossiers are not normally reviewed with the main dossiers. However, whilst we are the next heritage month to receive our referrals, we also learnt that sadly we are not in the matching room. This is now our 14 month, and expedited referrals have been running on this time frame, therefore we are unsure if this means that the CCAA will miss another heritage expedited month or we will not receive our referral with our heritage expedited LID peers. We will have to wait for referral time to see. We hoped that we would be travelling in March to meet baby Wong. This now looks unlikely. I am so busy at work and with the book editing, and loft conversion I am quite grateful for the distractions to take my mind of this and to focus on other things. Dylan our ginger kitten ( well 10 month old cat)is getting better and instead of waking us for kisses at 02.00 am, 5 am and 7 am he is now only doing this at 05.00 and 07.00 hrs. He is training us for parenting and coping with sleep deprivation ! I would also like to thank my supportive cyber buddies who have helped keep me sane this week:)
