Romantic dinner for two!

We had the usual busy weekend. Back out on the scaffolding to gloss the dormer windows, running around to change the bathroom sink for a smaller one ( juts out), the bathroom tiles as they needed to be 1 cm thick for the seal around the shower, and the radiator ( as two high!). I also picked up the paint for the hall, and gloss for the skirting board and stairs. I forgot to take the bit of handrail that had been cut with us to match the wood varnish! But can do this next weekend.

Today we also squeezed in a quick 5 mile run, it was suppose to be 6 miles but like most Chinese people my hubby has a mild lactose intolerance. He had yogurt and blueberry compote for breakfast and at 5 miles had to dash ( yes literally ) to the loo! Luckily we were only running around Blackheath and were quite close to Greenwich park!

Then my lovely hubby took me for a romantic lunch in the Capital restaurant ( see picture!) in Knightsbridge ( our 10th anniversary of our first date!), it's a Michelin 2 star restaurant, and what can I say the food was fab. I'm afraid I couldn't make it to the pudding! I had a glass of wine with dinner, and I never drink at lunchtime and I started to ge a massive headache, probably due to dehydration ( wine plus running!) Despite us drinking 2 bottles of water with our dinner! However, Valerie's patisserie was at the end of the road so I bought three cakes which we can have later! Hubby thought it would be a good idea to try to fit in as many nice couple things before baby Wong arrives!

The plaster is coming Tuesday and then next week our tiler will do the bathroom tiling and the plumber will finish of the toilet, sink etc then the workmen are all done! Then its down to us to decorate ( wont take long only a weekend! I also need to finish the book, I am nearly there but it is so time consuming, and time is not something we have a lot of at the moment! I guess I will be burning the midnight oil to get it finished! I can do this, work to about 2 am then go to bed and up for work the next day, but after a while I end up going down with a massive cold of something!

In two days time it is our 14th month LID. But gosh this month has gone really slowly! Maybe because they referred early last month? So there has been a large gap between the two?. I hope that each month until we get baby Wong wont feel this long!
