I have joined in two swaps with a 2006 yahoo LID group, a pyjama swap and a Chinese New Year swap. The organiser of the CNY swap kindly emailed me the person who I am sending to early so that I could mail it in time for them to receive it by CNY. I had great fun buying all the things, good old retail therapy. And on the way to work today I stopped off at the post office to send them (opens at 08.30am!).
We got home last night and things were not too bad! They had moved the partition wall and even with the extra space after plastering and tiling we will get a very good seal around the shower tray. It really would of been touch and go if the door fitted or not, and I do think that it probably wouldn't, as the door could only be adjusted down to 740cm and the wall was already just under 750 cm without plastering each side and tiling. It would of been a nightmare to return as it is too large for our car, and we would of then needed to order a 700 cm door which would of made the space look so small (its already small enough). To ensure everything else goes smoothly I insisted we measured the sink and towel radiator rail space to ensure that everything fits and is positioned correctly! And guess what the sink is too big and juts out too much! At least its still sealed and we can return this on Saturday and change it as the plumber won't need this until next week.
Today the doors and skirting board is going up, and the dormer windows sealed properly. The stair case rail will be finished on Thursday, one hall wall still needs to be plasterboard and then that's it for the joiners! The plasterer and plumber will finish things off next week!!!! Yes, then time to decorate, the new bedroom, bathroom and re paint the hallway! We then just need to hire a carpet cleaner! Yes we did use a protective plastic layer but the dust got everywhere and we also discovered Daisy the cat kept on putting her claws in it and biting through the plastic so the dust has seeped through in some places. Also our cream sofa is not quite so cream with two black cats and lots of muddy paw prints on it! So we normally end up cleaning it once a year anyway!
The joiner also suggested that we climb out on the back scaffolding and paint the outside dormer window whilst its still up. Great idea, but did you see the weekend post! Guess that's something that I will end up doing this weekend. Especially as the scaffolding is narrower out the back than the front! Ha!
But Saturday is also our 10th year anniversary of our first ever date together! So he has booked us somewhere nice for lunch!
Today I am also going to meet up with the Department of Health to discuss liver services in the United Kingdom. I am going at part of the British Liver Trust nurses forum committee. It should be interested. It will be nice to catch up on some of the other committee members as well as we are all spread over the UK!

Nov could be out of review!!
I'm still feeling strange. It might be a sinus problem?
I'm trying to ignore it..its hard though and trying not to get stressed..hard again.
Hopefully it will go!!!!!
Hi Rosie November people are still being questioned. This information has been posted in the November Yahoo group. So only some people are throught not the month as yet.
I am also through review as BLAS provided me with this information at the beginning of January. Expedited requests seem to be reviewed on different time scales so I am unsure if this is the reason why I was through quite early.
Hope you are feeling better soon:)
