Home alone!

Hubby is away in France on business for two days, he left at 05.00 AM. I was going to drive him to the airport but I needed to be in at work for 8.00 am as I was interviewing all morning, and wouldn’t have made it back in time with rush hour traffic going into London. So he had to get a taxi. Don’t feel too sorry for him though, the venue for this 'work' is a ski resort and he has packed his ski boots and ski clothes!

I always really miss him if he goes away, and if he goes to conferences then I usually go with him as its also relevant to me. But I also enjoy having the house to myself. Tonight I am just going to potter around, do a bit more painting and cleaning up ( it always stays tidy when I am on my own). Tomorrow night I have arranged to go out with a friend. I don’t see my friends that often as we are all career girls and have busy work loads so its always so nice to catch up with all the news and to spend some girly time! Hubby is back on Friday evening so I will cook him something nice to eat
