Last week we had a live mouse brought into our house at 4 am by our older cat. I can cope with that it was downstairs but this morning about 5.00 am I was woken up to a toad squealing ( yes they do make a racket, trust me!) due to the fact that it was being held in my kittens mouth in our bedroom! Yes I know its a sign of affection, and we do love our cats, and obviously they love us! but please how do you tell them to leave any 'live' presents downstairs and not before 6.00 am! I was so tired at work today as I didn't finish the commissioned journal article until 1.00 Am, so only had just over 4 hours sleep!
Its really good that neither hubby or I are squeamish! I hope baby Wong isn't either! I suppose all this sleep deprivation is good training for us!
