She is a Mummy's girl for sure! And needs to be held by me all the time. I truly know the meaning of multi tasking now! Even our guide was surprised at the changes in her from the wailing baby yesterday and how she keeps touching my arm or holding my hand all the time!
Today we went back to Civic Hall to complete the adoption. The orphanage director was there. He speaks Cantonese so Terry spent a long time talking to him yesterday and today. Its a small orphanage, and they really care for the children. They told Terry how worried they were last night about Isabella as she was screaming so much! Also they are new to ICA and this was the first UK adoption! But they were so pleased when the saw her today and how calm she was and cuddling Mummy! We asked if we could visit when we come back to China and send picture of her. They were very happy and gave us their address, email contact, and mobile number!
We asked about the other two children being adopted. They told us how Isabella was friends with both of them and how close they all are and that there are pictures of them both in our two returned camera's which we will get developed in Hong Kong.
Isabella held my hand earlier, looked into my eyes and said Ma Ma! I had tears in my eyes!
So we have now officially adopted her! She is now our daughter and we couldn't be happier!
Here are two pictures of Isabella, wearing her red dress as it was a formal ceremony today! The first is her attached to me! And the second when we were playing on the floor and she started giggling! She is going to be a really cheeky thing!

There is nothing more beautiful then watching the making of a family! Seeing Isabella's big grin and hearing your report is just heaven. And Suzanne, you are such a dear to ask about Ivy and Mia! You have brought us such joy to hear news of happy little friends and kind and caring caregivers. There is nothing greater that we could have hoped for. Enjoy your day together!
