We met Isabella this PM. She screamed solidly for over an hour (really screamed!). She was with her favourite nanny and the orphanage director, and wouldn't let her nanny go!. So our first meeting was quite stressful with a hot sweating screaming baby, which nothing would pacify! After the orphanage staff left, I asked to leave and as soon as we got in the van she feel asleep, and back at the hotel we have had a few screams and tears but is pretty much now Velcro to me! And wont let Ba Ba pick her up. She has drunk 1/2 a bottle of milk and is now babbling and playing quite happily!
Will post more tomorrow as its not easy typing with a baby on you lap!

Dear Suzanne and Terry:
So lovely to see Isabella in your arms! She is perfectly beautiful!
You'll see such a transformation in her over the course of the next week! She will quickly soak up all that love you have stored up!
Wishing you all a wonderful journey over the coming days, and safe travels back to the UK.
(Reading your blog brings us back to two years ago when we brought our daughter home - Isabella's birth region isn't all that far from our daughter's.)
very best wishes,
Ellen, Mike and Annaliesa xx
