Sweet dreams!

We took Isabella for dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a buffet, with some hot cooked foods. What can I say, she really has a good appetite, just like BaBa!!! First course meat congee, followed by fish, prawns, rice, noodles, choy (vegetables), pudding! She has a sippy cup from the orphanage, and loves water and drinks lots of it. She ate on my lap and wont let me put her down at all. But thats fine, at least she feels some security with one of us.

She is doing so well after the intial difficult start, she looks at me all the time and has great eye contact and even tried to feed me some of her pudding!

It was more tears for a nappy change and to put her into her sleep suit, just because I had to put her down!. And she resisted sleep, but it didn't take too long for Miss Wong to finally fall asleep so that we could put her into her cot.

We are meeting our guide tomorrow at 08.30 and then hopefully she will legally be ours! Its then just the notary on Wednesday and passport on Friday!

I'm obsessively checking your blog at the moment :-) Isabella looks adorable fast asleep in her cot :-) Did you get much sleep or did you lie there watching her and checking she was ok?? Thank you so much for sharing your journey, its wonderful to be able to share this with you.

Suzanne, I love that she is making good eye contact, eating well and clinging onto you. All good things! Don't worry, Baba, she'll find out you're great fun, soon! Enjoy all the discoveries.
Love,

Dear Suzanne, Terry and Isabella- I odn't know what order to put the names in!!!
I could not wait to get home tonight- drove all the way back from Codsall rather than stay over as I can't access internet on my work laptop. But it was worth the drive!! She is adorable- and she is so long!! She will be a tall girl! Just like you and I Suzanne!!!
I am working at home tomorrow witrh the express intention of logging on the minute I wake up just to 'see' her again. We are so very happy for you.
We tried to send a bottle of champagne to your hotel in Hong Kong only to find you had checked out at 6.30am that day. I promise we will send you another one when you are all safely home.
Lots of love
