TA/ITT is on its way!

I heard from our China facilitators today that our ITT/TA left China this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have agreed that as its en route that they will arrange the adoption for the week of the 27th, so I will book our flights tomorrow morning. We will leave London on the 25th to Hong Kong and fly from Hong Kong to Nanning on the 26th and then onto Guangzhou on the 1st or 2nd and home on the 8th or 9th.

We cant book our consulate appointment to we get our ITT/TA but have spoken to the airline and if needs be we can change our flights but hopefully a week will be enought to get our visa.

Our only sticking point may be out government office, who probably wont like the fact we have arranged the adoption and know our ITT/TA is on its way. But it is so difficult for hubby to take time of work! And if we cant go this week then he has to cancel lists and outpatients appointments and we dont really want to delay patients treatments so hopefully they will understand. So lots of positive thoughts/prayers they wont delay us in anyway!

Sadly they have told us we cannot visit the orphanage, but hopefully we will in the future. Thats why we are sponsoring a child into a foster programme to build up links for Isabella in the future.

Also we have received so many fabulous presents for Ms Wong. Here are two pictures so thank you P and D, we love them.

Also we now have our Chinese name for Isabella. My close cyberpals will know my personal views, but its my Chinese family tradition that the elder in the family gives the Chinese name and my FIL has chosen a new name to reflect Isabella's new start in life with her new family. She will be called Isabella Yi Ting Wong. Yi means to depend on someone which reflects her coming into our family and Ting means growing up to be beautiful/graceful.

WONDERFUL news :-) I'm so relieved to hear that your ITT is ON ITS WAY :-) I've got everything crossed that DCSF don't mess you about!! And Isabella's full name is beautiful, as are the Wong family traditions (and claiming of Isabella as one of their own).
Lots of love

Isabella's name is beautiful I think. So happy for you Suzanne, we arrive in Hong Kong on July 17th, then go to Fuzhou in Fujian province for a week, then we'll be in Guangzhou and leave on July 31. Looks like we'll just miss you. I'd hoped to meet you in China. Thats okay, if you're ever in Chicago sometime in the future we'd love to meet you...we're only 2 hours away. Are you going to try and blog from China? Just curious, we are going to attempt it. :)
