Today I went to get our Visa's from the Chinese consulate, it was fairly straight forward. It now an online appointment system so I was inside 10 minutes after the due time, and had my receipt to collect the visa's after a further 15 minutes. The took a copy of the TA/ITT and copies of itinerary and flights. I just had to show them the hotel bookings. I then went to my FIL house for coffee as they only live 10 minutes away, and then went back at 11.30 to collect the passports. And was out by 11.45.
I also took a copy of her finding ad for my FIL to look at. There is no new information on it apart from the time that she was found which wasn't on our orphanage report. But its nice to have a picture of her at 6 weeks old.
The rest of the day was spend washing clothes and cleaning! OK a bit of clothes shopping via Oxford street on the way home!
People keep asking me about Isabella nursery. Yes its nearly done! We are just waiting for the single white wooden bed which is due to be delivered after we get back. And her cot is ready in our room where she will sleep for 2-3 months to help attachment. Here are a couple of pictures. We still need to get our builder to come and box the wardrobe in! But we will arrange that when we are back. At least we can hang her clothes up! She has so many, plus all the T-shirts, shorts, jeans etc are in the drawers. We decided that as we are going to sell the house next year, not to redecorate.
We also have sorted out kitty arrangements. My kind friend Laura is going to stay here for a week, then our next door neighbours will come in twice a day to feed them! We would of preferred the cattery but is full as its school holidays!
